Staking a claim in the universe known as The Blogosphere allows us to create our own little world. That becomes evident when as you explore. You happen upon abandoned settlements, you find interesting sites to which you want to return and land in places you can't leave fast enough. From space, there are none. From Earth, there are only those we have created. Even animals seem to manage cross the oceans and make a niche for themselves, without the local populations getting out the placards!
Is this what you meant in your comment about your November 7th ('Dona Nobis Pacem') idea?
On the wall, at school, there's a map of the world, apparently upside-down. [But, obviously, there is no 'upside-down'!] I love that map. It challenges the way we've learned the 'world'. We can re-think, but it takes a challenge to do so.
